Coventry City U21s defender George Burroughs has extended his loan spell at National League North side AFC Telford United until January 1st, following the temporary break for the Professional Development League season.
The 20-year-old originally joined the club back in October, and has made six first-team appearances so far this season, despite the club currently sitting bottom of the National League North table, with just one victory in 18 league games and sit ten points off safety.
With the tough season reaching a steep with the build-up of fixtures set to be placed on all clubs during the upcoming christmas period. Burroughs will be hoping to add some further strength and guidance for his sides defence, until the new year.
