Coventry City U21s goalkeeper Tom Billson has joined National League North side Kidderminster Harriers on a one-month loan deal, with the clubs U21s season currently on hold during the winter break, before it resumes next year.
The 22-year-old makes his first loan departure, since his move to Scunthorpe United on loan in August 2021, which lasted just half a game before he sustained a serious knee injury and never played for the club again. He links up with The Harriers, who currently sit 11th in the table, just three points off the play-off places in the league.
Billson has had a strong start to the season, making his claim as the clubs U21s first choice as well as the third choice goalkeeper for the clubs first-team, following an injury to Cian Tyler and a loan departure for Luke Bell. Therefore, his loan spell is the ideal move for the player, with the club now out of action until January with the Professional Development League season on hold due to the winter break.
SBA Talk wishes you the best of luck Tom!
