DEPARTURE: Luke Bell Joins Slimbridge On Loan

Coventry City have confirmed the temporary departure of U21s goalkeeper Luke Bell who has joined Non-League side Slimbridge AFC on a one-month loan deal.

The 19-year-old has made five appearances for the clubs U21s so far this season, and has recently returned to the football club after spending a month at fellow Non-League side Stratford Town, alongside former Coventry City duo Liam O'Brien and Dan Lafferty. He will link-up with the Southern League Division One South side until the new year, with the clubs U21s campaign currently on hold during the winter break.

Bell recently secured his first professional contract with the club, and has already impressed his coaches with his individual performances so far this season, and his loan spell will allow him to continue picking up experience at mens level, making him a better goalkeeper, and pushing his quest to become the clubs number one at U21s level, moving forward.

SBA Talk wishes you the best of luck Luke!
