Player Biography
Striker Martyn Waghorn arrived at the CBS Arena on a free transfer in July after he left Derby County following the expiry of his contract. At the start of last season, Waghorn developed a strong relationship with Viktor Gyokeres, sending the Skyblues into the top two of the Championship.
He scored his only goal against Middlesbrough in the league and provided a couple of assists, but was extremely unlucky throughout the campaign. This season he has found game time hard to come by, but has put in some passionate, substitute appearances so far.
