Player Biography
Swedish international Viktor Gyokeres originally joined the Skyblues from Premier League side Brighton Hove Albion on loan in January 2021, but despite failing to score, his quality caught the eyes of the Coventry City scouts, who made the deal permanent for roughly £1,000,000 in July 2021.
In his first season as a permanent player, Gyokeres starred as he hit seventeen league goals, becoming the first Skyblues player to score more than fifteen in a second tier season since the 2005/2006 season. He also made his international debut for Sweden and has since earned nine caps. This season, his performances have continued, hitting four goals in eleven games.
