Player Biography
Full-back Jake Bidwell joined Coventry City in January 2020, in order to provide competition for the then-loanee Ian Maatsen. Bidwell used his experience well, featuring left-back to allow Maatsen to go further forward as well as slotting into a left-sided centre-back when required.
This season, Bidwell has been one of the clubs best standout performers so far, bagging two assists and defensively showing his capabilities by simply keeping things very simple at the back to avoid basic errors. Since his move from Swansea, Bidwell hasn't had the easiest of rides but hopefully he can win his haters over in the coming weeks.
