Player Biography
French full-back Julien Dacosta joined Coventry City in July 2020, following the clubs promotion back to the Championship. He began ahead of Fankaty Dabo but seemingly struggled to capture the heights he could have, despite a handful of positive performances.
Similarly, he began the 2021/22 season in the same way before falling completely out of favour at the CBS Arena. In January 2022, Dacosta made a loan switch to Portuguese side Portimonense, making eleven first team appearances, including being on the receiving end of a terrible defeat against FC Porto. He then joined League One side Shrewsbury Town on loan in July and looks to have found minutes in the English third tier.
