Player Biography
Midfielder Aidan Finnegan joined the Skyblues from Midland rival's Birmingham City, after his scholarship expired at St Andrews, in October 2020. His debut season was certainly a quieter one than expected, however to his credit, he did a good job considering he'd joined after the season had already taken place.
Last season, Finnegan featured a lot more for the club's U23s, as well as contributing with both goals and assists as the U23s cruised to winning the Professional Development League, after beating Bristol City in the final. This season, Finnegan has continued to kick-on and after signing a one year extension in June, he continues to fight for his place and players like that are a coaches dream.
