Player Biography
Goalkeeper Simon Moore joined the Skyblues in Summer 2021, after being released by now Championship side Sheffield United. Moore immediately became the clubs number one, his first time in that role for almost five years. This is due to him falling down the pecking order at Brammal Lane, following the Blades rise to the Premier League.
Moore began the season brilliantly, quickly becoming one of the more underrated keepers in the Championship. He was even the subject of a January 2022 bid from Premier League side Aston Villa. However, his confidence suddenly took a knock and after a disappointing start to the season, currently finds himself as the clubs number two.
